THE PRESENT DAY BIANCHI FAMILY IS IMMERSED IN THE TRADITIONAL TRADING ETHICS HANDED DOWN TO IT FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION. IT IS EQUALLY COMMITTED TO RESTORING AND EXPANDING THE UNIQUE STORE, WHICH IS SO IMPORTANT TO ITS FAMILY HERITAGE, AND TO MACCLESFIELD AS A WHOLE.
Today, the fourth generation Bianchis are charged with moving the company forward in the new century. Anxious to preserve service and qualities that have earned them widespread respect, they are determined to retain the loyalty of long-standing customers by continuing to stock the very best furniture and accessories available.
They are equally intent on attracting a new generation of design-conscious customers who have an eye for modern and contemporary styling. By scouring the world’s leading furniture makers to bring the very best examples of modern design, fine classical British furniture now shares a vast display space with the very latest that New York, Milan and the Far East can offer.
But furniture retail doesn’t stand still, it is constantly evolving and the store reacts quickly to change. Leading brands will always have a place and the store offers flagship displays of Duresta, Tempur, Vi-Spring, And So To Bed, G Plan, Ercol, Ligne Roset and Calligaris.
The new younger generation of Bianchis are currently taking the store in new directions and embracing new technology to communicate with the ever growing customer database. Arighi Bianchi advertises on local, regional and national levels and has now ventured into its first ever national television campaign, the making of which can be seen here
Café Bar Arighi opened for business in 1988, immediately giving new life and personality to the store. The cosy tea shop type format, complete with cast iron spiral staircase, steadily increased in popularity year by year and in 2002 it was bravely reincarnated to become the light and relaxed Café Bar style you see today.
With its delicious home cooked food, signature dishes and irresistible cakes, it is easy to see why Café Bar Arighi has won critical acclaim and made it a much-loved destination in its own right with some even saying that it is now one of the favourite ‘in places to lunch' in Cheshire. Not bad for a furniture store!
Arighi Bianchi now has over 30 showrooms displaying a stunning array of products, matched by the specialist skills of over 100 dedicated staff. It remains true to the enduring values of service and quality that have been the foundations of its success for over 150 years.
