Our Stunning Macclesfield Show Home Collaboration with PJ Livesey

We recently teamed up with the fantastic team at PJ Livesey to bring an extra special touch of luxury to a spectacular £1million show home at the new King’s Gate housing development in Macclesfield. And we couldn’t wait to share the stunning results with you.

When it comes to heritage restoration, PJ Livesey has long been a name that truly stands out. With over 40 years of experience in transforming historic properties into exquisite new homes, they’re the perfect partner for us. And we were truly thrilled when the opportunity arose to help dress one of their most prestigious properties, The Alexander.

A Show Home Like No Other

The Alexander is a remarkable bespoke conversion of the former King’s School library, combining heritage charm with modern elegance and just a ten-minute walk from our flagship store in the centre of Macclesfield. The upper floor of the show home, in particular, called for something truly special—PJ Livesey’s vision was to create a boutique-style living space with serious wow factor. And who better to bring it to life than our expert design team at Arighi Bianchi?

We were delighted to step in and curate a stunning collection of luxury furniture and accessories, transforming this already beautiful space into the ultimate dream home. From contemporary sofas to exquisite lighting, every detail was carefully considered to ensure the space was not only stylish but also welcoming and full of unique character.

Bringing the Vision to Life

As the project neared completion, our very own Nick Bianchi joined Kathryn Mitchelhill, head of interior design at PJ Livesey, for a tour of the property. The space was already brimming with potential, and within just a week, our team had worked their magic, adding a touch of sparkle by seamlessly integrating our bespoke furniture and signature pieces to elevate the home to new heights.

Reflecting on this incredible collaboration, Nick Bianchi shared, “It’s been an absolute pleasure to collaborate with PJ Livesey on this stunning show home project. The finished property beautifully highlights the breadth of our product collections, from contemporary sofas to exquisite lighting, all brought together with interior styling that truly transforms a house into a home. We hope visitors find the décor as inspiring as we found the process of bringing it to life.”

Champagne Celebration

To mark this fabulous partnership, we’re co-hosting an exclusive champagne reception and preview event at The Alexander on Saturday, 1st February. Guests will be treated to an exclusive tour of the luxury conversion, including its quirky winter garden and spacious first-floor living area—all meticulously restored to retain their original grandeur—followed by a glass of bubbly and delicious bakes and cakes from local favourite bakery and bar, All Things Nice.

As a special thank you, everyone who attends will be entered into a competition to win a VIP shopping experience at Arighi Bianchi, including a personal shopping session, lunch for two at elegant eatery Caffé AB, and a £500 voucher to spend in-store – the perfect excuse to refresh your own interiors!

To join us for this fabulous event and enter the competition, simply email sales@kingsgate-macclesfield.co.uk and don’t forget to bring your event flyer on the day.

A Perfect Partnership

Georgina Lynch, Managing Director at PJ Livesey, sums it up perfectly: “This is a wonderful partnership. As two well-established, local family businesses, coming together on this £1million project felt like a perfect match from the beginning. Huge thanks to everyone in the team for curating such a fabulous collection and to everyone who’s helped along the way to make it happen.”

We couldn’t agree more! Working on this project has been an absolute joy, and we can’t wait to welcome visitors to experience The Alexander for themselves. Stay tuned for more behind-the-scenes glimpses, and we look forward to seeing you at the preview event.
